A Plymouth Healthy Market - The Plymouth Area Coalition Food Pantry provides canned and fresh foods to low income South Shore residents, with support from Project Bread’s Walk for Hunger, Greater Boston Food Bank, Whole Foods, BJ’s Wholesale Club, local churches, private foundations, civic groups and individual community members.
Be on the lookout for the Healthy Market Options symbol. You’ll find it on specific shelves throughout the pantry. Foods need to earn this symbol and when you see it – the healthy choice will be the easy choice! Foods designated as a “Healthy Market Option” must meet certain nutrient criteria including having a low sodium, calorie, fat, and sugar content. These foods also need to be high in important nutrients for your health including fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
The pantry also provides food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Hours of operation: Wednesdays 5 PM – 7 PM, Thursdays 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Donations of food are accepted 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
